It would be very useful to have, "live search hit highlighting", this is very useful when using regular expressions.

Possibly identical, or somewhat related to this enhancement http://pspad.nlift.com/issues/59/smart-highlighter/> I would at least say they would be related because a hybrid of both (allowing highlighting of search, selected words, or currently focused identifier words within the current language.) I do also ask that if highlighting of multiple things is made possible that the scripting be updated to allow highlighting to be done by any extension scripters too. Thanks Comment
