I would like to see this implemented within PSPad also. Even though I would hate to see one of the most powerful plugins die.
Wallypop, if you were wanting this now you can use PHReplace. A plugin which does a great job of integrating with PSPad. It is also better than the regular expresion replace built in if you were dealing with multiple lines.

This would be a great feature. I've used VIM quite a bit, and the main feature I use it for is RegEx substitutions.
