I would like to use SFTP protocol the same way I'm able to use FTP with PSPad. The protocol description is here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SSH_file_transfer_protocol .
Note:
FTPS ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FTPS ) support seems to have been implemented with version 4.5.4 in July 2009. But that's a different protocol which my servers don't support :-(.

At work, security on unix servers has been enhanced. FTP access is now locked and only SFTP (and SSH) access are allowed.
So I can't no more use PSPAD and, in comparison, the old version of Ultraedit (which supports SFTP) given by my boss seems really ugly.
Please, give us SFTP access inside PSPAD ....

This is truly the only feature missing from PSPad. It should be number 1 priority.
I would most definitely pay for PSPad if they asked, if it had SFTP support. I've been using it as my editor of choice for about 5 years.
